The Wall Street Journal ran an article this Week on the Effectiveness in Treating IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) with Hypnosis (May 7, 2018)
The headline in the Health Section read “A Surprise Medical Solution: Hypnosis”.
The article began “Major hospitals are finding hypnotherapy can help sufferers of digestive conditions like heartburn, colitis, acid reflux and irritable bowel syndrome…”
If you are not a subscriber to The Wall Street Journal, you might want to take a look at the kind of research their report is based on. Click here for new of a pilot study published in March 2018 in the Journal of Advances in Medicine and Medical Research.
They conclude that “the hypnosis echography protocol can allow the patient to become the principal architect of the therapeutic result, and the doctor to considerably broaden the field of application of echography from the sphere of diagnosis to that of therapy. This approach can be a new therapeutic opportunity in the management of IBS patient.”
And that truly is what hypnosis and hypnotic coaching is all about – giving clients back there own power.
10-20% of people suffer from symptoms of IBS – if you are one I (or most any hypnotist I assume) would be happy to work in conjunction with your physician as part of your healing team. Click here for my new client intake survey if interested.
