Most people find the process is gentle yet powerful. And you will certainly enjoy the freedom and pride that comes when you start losing weight and keep it off – typical clients lose between a pound and a pound and a half a week – this is not a lost tons of weight the first week approach – the goal of the Healthy Mind ™ Weight Loss Hypnosis Program is long-term sustainable weight control and healthy living.
The initial three session package is designed to give you the tools to create and sustain a permanent weight loss program. My typical client loses between 5 and 10 pounds the first month depending on a variety of factors (sex, age, lifestyle). Follow-up sessions are very useful and are offered at a discount to clients who have completed the initial package.
You might choose to come back for boosters at a monthly, quarterly, six monthly or even occasional basis depending on your weight loss goals and life stresses. You might want to revisit your Permanent Weight Loss Plan or work on specific issues like exercise, dining out of holiday stress.
Some clients have lost as much as 100 pounds and kept them off for years with just an occasional visit. This is not a “one size fits all” approach: each client is treated as an individual.

Follow-up Hypnosis Reinforcement Sessions Optional
You can expect immediate weight loss as you change your mind about your body.
I will address in hypnosis specific issues such as binges, lack of exercise, addiction to carbohydrates, late night eating, emotional eating, unconscious eating and others as they apply to you. Chronically obese clients are more than welcome; however, it must be understood that mine is not a medical weight loss program so it is essential that your program be supervised by a physician who is aware of your weight issues.
Weight Watcher® member? Jenny Craig®? Nutrisystem®? Some other program? No problem. The work we do will add support and will always be compatible. You will keep what is working on losing weight and keeping it off and drop what isn’t.
A follow-up session is recommended, but not required, after a month and then after three months. Some people find the additional support helpful in sustaining motivation – others rely on their personalized recordings from our three office sessions.
A Program You Work that Keeps On Working Once You GET IT
Typically, hypnosis is used to support a gradual change in lifestyle, not a quick fix diet. But the shift into a permanent weight loss mentality is a definite experience, like turning on a light. It just takes a while for your body to catch up and shed the pounds you have put on over the years. But you will know you are moving in the right direction.
The cost for each hypnosis/hypnotic coaching session is $135 and lasts about an hour. The cost includes a free CD recording of your session. There is a $20 discount each session when you pay for the program in full at session one. So your total investment will be $345 ; however, you don’t have to go by faith. If you are like most people, you will start noticing results after the first session.
No one can guarantee your success. Your experience may certainly vary. But keep in mind I have been in private practice for 16 years. And most of my clients come to me as referrals from satisfied clients or medical referrals.
More About Weight Loss Hypnosis
The biggest enemy in long-term weight loss is the mind. Loss of motivation is the biggest factor in initial and sustained weight loss.
People feel defeated by diets that not only failed but caused a re-bound into greater weight gain. Hypnotic support is the perfect way to maintain high motivation. It addresses your subconscious mind where motivation resides (or fails to reside).

More Weight Kept Off Two Years Later With Hypnosis*
A 9-week study was conducted of two weight loss groups. One group was given hypnotherapy for weight loss. The other wasn’t.
A follow-up showed the people in the hypnosis continued to lose weight. The non-hypnosis group didn’t. (1985).
More Weight Lost Initially With Hypnosis*
60 women who wanted to lose weight were divided into two groups. One received hypnosis. One didn’t.
The difference between the groups was dramatic.
The groups using hypnosis lost an average of 17 pounds. The non-hypnosis group lost an average of only .5 pounds. (1986).
Hypnosis’ Power in Weight Loss
Confirmed by Meta-analysis**
A meta-analysis is a scientific review that compares the results of many different studies. Its purpose was to determine the impact of hypnosis on weight loss. In 1996, a meta-analysis study was performed to investigate the results of adding hypnosis to weight loss treatment
The analysis concluded that adding hypnosis to weight loss programs increases initial results,and helps assure long-term weight loss success.
The findings were startling. They reported an average increased weight loss of 97% during treatment when hypnosis is added. More important, hypnosis increased the long-term weight loss after treatment by over 146%.

with specific protocols and other variables.
These studies should not be considered a guarantee of your success.
