I have heard it called “painless childbirth” – of course the people speaking were all men.
None-the-less hypnosis can help a woman bring a baby into the world with less stress and the ability to focus more on the miracle than the the “labor” of it.
In my 18 years of full-time hypnosis practice, I have been privileged to help a number of women make the birthing experience a joyous, positive one through hypnosis and by teaching self-hypnosis.
And numerous studies confirm hypnosis and self-hypnosis’ effectiveness in the birthing process. Studies show reduction in reports of pain during childbirth, more spontaneous births and even less postpartum depression.
Here is the experience of one of my hypnobirthing clients:

Please feel free to give me a call to discuss a free consultation to come into the office and discuss the process. Typically it is a 3-6 session program starting as early in your pregnancy as possible – though I have had a couple of clients who came in within a couple of weeks of their due date and did just fine. Keep in mind that I am usually a few weeks to several months out for scheduling. 401-374-1890 or email me john.koenig.hypnotist@live.com
And by the way, all three of my children were hypnobabies.
